The International School of Prague (ISP) founded the Fund for Education in 2002. The Fund is a grant-giving organization, (foundation fund), under Czech law.

The Fund is a vehicle for effective engagement of the International School with the Czech educational community. Its mission is threefold:

• Support Czech education by assisting students, encouraging professional development of teachers, and strengthening educational programs at schools.
  
• Support students, institutional development and special charity and community projects of the International School of Prague.
  
• Support charity projects for children in need.

The Fund raises money at its annual fundraising events such as the Gala Dinner Dance and the Cabaret, from corporate sponsors and from school community individual donors.

An open grant process is announced in professional education publications and websites.

A Board of Directors and a Supervisory Board govern the Fund for Education.
