Curriculum

Welcome to The International School of Prague's Curriculum!

This is the result of the faculty's ongoing efforts to design a well-articulated, PK-12 curriculum that is rooted in inquiry where students are involved in finding answers to difficult questions. Our curriculum offers to students the life-long understandings, knowledge and skills that will enable them to be successful.

You can access a comprehensive set of unit plans for every course and grade-level at ISP. A unit plan is a method of organizing and planning what happens in the classroom. The unit plans outline what we want students to know, understand and be able to do and serve as a guide for teachers to plan their assessments, design their key learning activities and select appropriate learning resources. They are not a collection of daily lesson plans. The work you view reflects the current school year.

Please consider that the units will differ in scope and detail depending on grade and subject area. As well, ISP's curriculum is a living document and is constantly under revision. Changes to the curriculum are based upon student needs, learning results and current research. Over time, you can anticipate revisions in our units of instruction.
